Silverlake Garage: Heavy Duty Epoxy Resin
We were contacted by Silverlake Garage in Shedfield to install new garage flooring after we were recommended to them by a long-standing client of ours. In total, the project took 3 days to complete.
After we carried out a site survey at the premises, the client opted for a self-smoothing epoxy resin floor with a scattering of flakes for effect. Once cured, this would result in a hard wearing, chemical and abrasion resistant surface that would be easy for the client to maintain.
The day after the epoxy resin was laid, the excess flakes were recovered and the surface was sealed with an application of UV100TX clear resin to give it a textured finish. We then marked three car bays in a contrasting colour to make them stand out; the client was very happy with the end result.
